makita Bo6040

has anyone used a makita bo6040 polisher is it worth cost difference of porta cable

I bought the Makita in the spring and really like the way it performs...it does seem to keep constant speed no matter what the pressure applied.
I'm no pro and just used it on the boat with great results.

I looked and have a different model then you asked about...the 9227CX3, I should do some checking before I post.
