Here's an idea for a BBQ install on the 240 Sundeck. The MAGMA original size seems the best fit. I wanted an easy access location so I selected the galley countertop just aft of the cupholders. I used the Magma flush mount with the 9 inch extension bar. After inserting the bar into the mount, you can comfortably sit on the aft lounge to screw the BBQ to the mount. The mount has those little buttons you push in in order to rotate the BBQ. Then attach the propane tank, move the stbd aft bim support to the storage position and the whole units rotates outboard over the gunnel. The BBQ can be rotated almost 90 degrees out over the water so little hands can't touch it when hot, then rotated to a "tool" position for turning and seasoning. Clean up, well is clean up. We store the BBQ in the galley storage locker and Sea Ray has provided some nice rubber tipped screws to hang the BBQ tools on. I use the wastebasket to hold my liquids, softscrub, windex, amorall etc. in case they leak. What about trash? I installed a cleat on the stbd side just fwd of the galley on which we hang a tall kitchen trash bag. It's bigger and ready to go at the end of the day plus no wear and tear on the locker hardware. Enjoy! Hope I did the photos right my first time posting them, they track with the dialog I hope. Regards, Evil Eyes.

They were there when I posted but then I deleted the photos I had downloaded in my CP. Must have deleted them on the post too. Egad! I'll try again.

Bingo! Think they are there now still learning procedure.

Looks great! Very unobtrusive and stows nicely.

I had the pedestal mount on my 240....was nice but it was a PIA most of the time...still is.

Wow! That's a big BBQ like being at home but plenty of room to store it on a 240. Thanks.

Why do you think that it is a big PIA? I have mine mounted on the swim platform as well and I love it there.

Its out of the main traffic flow on the deck, and far enough away from the ladder. What's not to like?

I like the platform location but the grill itself is a bit heavy and bulky and a pain to stow. A built-in or the smaller one like the OP has pictured is a lot easier.
