My boat came with a 2005 Majic tilt trailer. I do not think it is set up correctly. The two main bunks are higher in the front than the back. Also the boat sits over a foot from the keel to the cross memembers. I am looking for advice on how to set this trailer up proper and also drop it down lower to the trailer. Thanks in advance I have set up steel trailers before, just never an aluminum one. I figure it should be the same, however the bunks are different that I am used too.

Can you post some pictures?

"a foot from the crossmember"... Which way? Although it may not matter - it's more about the relation to the bunks and the axle.

I will try to post some pictures later, Axles are lower then cross members, even if leafs are fully deflected.

I got it all set up yesterday. I am not a super fan of this aluminum I beam trailer. The boat does load super easy and centers so all the works well, I guess I am just used to my boxed steel trailers that have more bunks than this thing.

Good, glad you got it set up. We put much bigger boats on two bunks. In reality, the "number of bunks" thing is more of an emotional thing than anything else. What happens is we get used to seeing trailers with 4 (or more) bunks on them and we begin to expect that, or assume that it has to be that. You're good to go - get out there and start boating! If you still would like me to take a quick look, post a few pics (full side shot and a couple different angles, too).
