I have a PC polisher, using presta products and have no problem buffing and polishing flat surfaces, ( hull / transom ) but I'm having a difficult time compounding the tight and enclave surfaces, where the cleats are on the stern and the reverse curved detail on the deck, are you guys using a mini polisher LOL or do I need to hone my skills?

Get yourself a 3" orbital. It will handle the tight spots. Foam Pads...

with what attachment? I thought I was being smart when I bought a metal polishing kit at HF and used the cone-shaped "pad" on a drill around the cleats, but there wasn't enough padding to work effectively, and I cant get the same shine by hand as the wheel can do on the rest of the boat.
