2015 260 sundancer, my macerator is not pumping out while I hear the pump running with the through hull open. worked fine last week. any ideas?

Had this happen the other day. Turned it off and then back on several times and tapped on it and it started to pump. Almost like the yuck was stuck and it needed a little bit of finese.

OMG, i went thru this last month. turns out there was an air/vacuum leak. if there is any air leak in the system it will lose its prime and stop pumping.
there was a T fitting. incoming from toilet that went to the t fitting which split one route to macerator and other route to deck pump out. we finally decided to remove the T fitting and the pump out hose. did a straight hose run from toilet to macerator, then out to thru-hull seacock and everything works great. this thing sucks like a porn star now. if i ever decide to use the waste pump out deck fitting (highly unlikely) i can just disconnect the hose going from the toilet to the macerator and connect it to the waste pumpout instead.
its late, work comes early, if this makes no sense, reply and i can send you a diagram.

There should be a cap on the end that you can use a large flathead screwdriver to make sure the shaft is turning inside. It may be jammed or frozen in place. Easy enough to check and you don't get all dirty from it

Please clarify that you are not pumping directly overboard into the bay.

I hope so too but according to their profile location which is near me, they are no where near a discharge zone.

Offshore option only . Keep the waste pump as main, point being, use one or other, combining both without y valve or swapping hose will cause issues.
