I went to install my Lowrance EP-60R fuel flow sensor on my 496 MAG. Seemed simple enough until I noticed that the fuel lines on the 496 are the -8 size 1/2" inner diameter and the sensor is sized for the 3/8" inner diameter lines (-6 size).

Has anyone installed an EP-60R fuel flow sensor on their 496? I would be interested to hear how you did it. Checking for splice barbs and fittings, there is not much out there to go from 1/2" I.D. to 3/8" I.D., mostly just reducer fittings to aluminum lines.

Hi, I was doing a search on the same, I have 350 Mags and want to add the same sensors on my boat. And I have 1/2" fuel lines as well. I notice the specs on the sensor should certainly supply WOT just fine with < 1psi constriction.
Have you figured out how to rig up your system? It seems like it'll turn into a string of adapters 1/2 to fuel filter, 1/2-3/8 adapter, 3/8 fuel line, ep-60, 3/8 fuel line and then 3/8 to 1/2" adapter. Can you share what you used, if you've done this?

Thanks much
