I purchased the New Lowrance 5200C GPS at the Atlanta Boat show. It has been on back order since January and just arrived this week. They also just up-dated the Southeastern fishing Hot spots map to provide details for Lake Lanier.
So my spring project will be to install it on my 270 Sundeck.
Anyone have good suggestions as to where and how to mount it for maximum visibility and access. I also have to locate the Antenna so it gets good Sat reception. I While I am at it I will also install the XM antenna. That I plan on mounting on the bow so I get decent reception while it is in the covered slip.
I will take detailed pictured and post them as the project moves along.
It has NMEA200 network bus so I can add fuel flow monitoring later.
