Anyone have low water pressure in aft shower. All other water faucets have good pressure. Changed the shower water control valve , but still low pressure.

I have removed the screen and makes no difference. What is weird is I get fast hot in galley and slow cold and in the shower I get the opposite.
It’s weird

With the shower head off, just the hose, it takes 1 minute 34 seconds to fill a gallon jug. The forward shower will fill the jug in 32 seconds.
The flow in the aft shower is so poor that the shower head will not function. Just a drizzle.

You have me stumped. Try using a compressor and blow it out in opposite direction. ?

Good idea! I don’t have access to air compressor, but maybe I can connect a water hose and blow backwards.
Thanks!

You should have a manifold that would allow you to remove the hose that feeds that shower. You have a restriction somewhere.

Found it! The line that runs from the control valve to the fitting that attaches to the metal flex hose has a big restriction. Now to figure out how to get at it!
Thanks everyone!

Check where your supply line connects to the shower mixer. Sometimes you will find a screen washer in the connection.

Removed the mixer from its base. Turned on the water. Both hot and cold water flow was way more than adequate.

Problem solved! I had to take out the entire shower control valve. Base included. On the bench I removed the brass plug on the bottom of the valve. I discovered a black hard substance ,that blocked the out port by 50%. I had to ream it out with a drill motor and a 1/4 inch drill bit. Reinstalled and now works great!
