Boat: 2005 Sea Ray 220 Select w/ Mercruiser 5.0 and Bravo III
Problem: Alarm sounds and display reads "check engine, low h20 pressure, guardian mode, reduce throttle, power limited to 49%, check engine" and so on. It starts this after you hit about 25mph or about 3200 RPM. The impeller was replaced over the winter and I just had about $4000 in regualr service and maintenance done. I have had the boat to Marine Max about 8 times and they continue to say it was a bed sensor and the problem is fixed. This time they are saying that it is a collapsed water pick-up line that is located in the lower unit and therefore is not getting enough water to the engine. This would make sense EXCEPT that the engine temperature at ANY SPEED is dead on where it should be at 175 degrees. AND now the speedo is 11mph to high.
