I was on the river last weekend running with a Formula Meet heading for lake Pepin on the mississippi, when running at about 3500 RPM an alarm started sounding. It was a low oil pressure alarm. I throttled down and turned off the engine. The oil pressure was at 25psi. This happened two more times as I figured out that I could not go too much faster than about 3000rpm. When I would stop for a while and start it back up the pressure would be fine for a while. What is going on? Any help would be appreciated.
