again this am I ran her up to 2400 rpm, and back to 1100 rpm. After a 15-20 min. run, the port side alarm returned
(water @ 160+; oil press. @ 40 +; tranny sending unit disconnected on left side) ! All fluids are clear and topped
to stick marks ! Tranny was warm, but not hot to my touch.
No steam and good volume of water coming via exhaust. Ck. of the discharge side of trann oil cooler has a solid flow as well !
I'm in a box !! I won't run her w/ an alarm sounding !!
My port has been my 'go to' engine to get me back to the dock ! Could it be the tranny sender ? Could it be the sender on the block ? I just replaced the water pumps in August, and have only been out twice, and,....for short distances ! Could I have pick up something in my thru hull intake?
