Our dog Happy started having trouble voiding and at night would leak on his bed. Not fully wetting just seeping. We took him to the vet and sure enough he had masses of cancer all through his body and one tumor was closing off his bladder. What a shock as he never gave any indication of pain or discomfort. My wife is devastated as you can imagine.
The house was lonely last night and we slept until 8:00 this morning as wasn’t there to wake us as he does every morning.
I’m an old farm boy and used to seeing animals come and go but this one really hurts.
RIP Happy.

I'll post a picture of him as soon as I import one from our photos.

Sad to hear os ,i felt the same and still miss lady every day and its been almost three years now.

Bill, sorry for the loss of your pet. I just went through that a couple months ago. It is so hard to see a pet suffer at the end. Hang in there buddy. Many of us here share your pain.

My thoughts go out to you, they become so much a part of our family.

Sorry for your loss, they are great friends. Its so hard after, we went 10 months but the emptyness in the house was unbearable.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Celebrate all the memories.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I have had to do this on more then one occasion.

Sorry to hear about your loss Bill. You were lucky to have such a good friend for that many years.

Remember the happy times you enjoyed with Happy and that might make the pain a bit easier to endure. Most of us have been in your shoes at one time or another so we know what you're going through.
