Late in the year my port engine was running warm only at over 3000 rpm. I called mechanic and pulled boat at our YC. He separated drive and 2 blades were missing off impeller. one was inside housing and I had to get the boat back in the water because I could not tie up the club trailer and never found the other. Sea trialed up the river with same results after new impeller install.
yesterday with boat on land we pulled drive to try and locate missing imp blade. It was not in drive exhaust so we back flushed from engine water intake hose out to drive not there either. Then we opened t stat housing and no luck there. also he checked on intake side of power steering cooler (that was first place he looked) and nothing there. will be draining block soon not sure if I will find it there or not.
Looking for suggestions. if I don't find the piece it will be a longer winter worrying where the .... it is.
