Hello All.

Took our 2005 340DA out for a cruise today and had something strange happen.

I'm hoping that someone can give me some tips on where to start my troubleshooting.

Engines ran perfectly (8.1's), generator ran perfectly (Kohler 5E).
All systems operated normally on the way to our anchorage at Lake Boca.

When we arrived and started getting ready to drop anchor, I noticed that I had no power on any of the pads on the instrument panel, although they worked perfectly on the cruise to our spot.
I lost power to windlass, blowers, bilge pump, and all other accessories..
Chart plotter and vessel view worked great the entire time.
Yes, I checked everything in the cabin electrical panel and below the helm.
could not access the bilge distribution panel because I had no power to the switches.

Fast forward an hour later.
We pull back into our slip, shut down the engines with generator still running and I notice that the all lights are back on and both left and right panels are working as they should.
I start up the engines again just to trouble shoot and all worked perfect.

So, has anyone seen this?
Where should I start looking?

Any help is appreciated.

Hard to say now that it's working again but any idea if any of the 12v items NOT controlled by the pads still worked? Things like 12v plug, sump pump etc? If you lost both pads at the same time, but now both pads work again, I wonder if it's a battery or wiring issue not the pads?

Yes, seemed to lose everything on that starboard battery bank.
Voltages all looked and checked good.
tried resetting it but no luck.
I’ll get down in the bilge and check batt wiring.
I was thinking lose ground somewhere.

on that note, my vessel view shows voltage at 13.6 on Port and 14.1 on starboard.
Not sure if that’s showing exactly what the alternator is putting out?
