Loose cleats 99 340DA

.We have always trailered the boat to different lakes. However this year we decided to join the yacht club and slip the boat. All of my cleats are working loose! I have bow lines,spring lines for and aft, stern lines. I even have snubbers on the bow lines and the stern lines.Is this normal? The boats in 1999, and the previous owner did have it slipped,However I know for a fact the cleats were not loose. I’ve owned about three years.

That’s pretty unusual. Cleats are installed with a backing supporting them. The factory usually glasses the backing plate in.
My old boat went through Nor’easters and two Hurricanes in the water during the time I owned it and the cleats remained solidly attached to it.
Is it possible that a previous owner improperly installed them, or moved them from an original location. I would remove the loose cleats and inspect the area that they are through bolted to.
