Well here in north Texas it doesn't look good for our weekend on the lake. Thanks to Alex we have been dumped on! Hope to get out a little tomorrow and then the weather should turn around for Sunday and Monday according to the local weather forcast.

It was partly clouding/over cast today when we splashed around 1:30 PM then around 3:00pm the sun broke through and I got scorched. The admiral reiterated about getting burnt even on over cast days. It looks like the south east is in for good weather for the 4th.

Yeah hemi2nv, I am close to you and went to Lake Lavon today. Stayed about 20 minutes too long and got soaked when I was packing up. Luckily I was on land during the soaking.
I was planning on hitting the water quite bit this weekend. With the weather, I may catch up on maintenance. I recently bought the boat and i don't know what all was done already, so I am doing everything.

You guys should be in Galveston. Clear right now 80% at noon then drops to 30%. Sunday same deal. But I am gonna chance a night on the bay with friends, family and the coast guard rescue team. But it should be fun and exciting anyway.

We lucked out and had a clear evening last night. Well, one or two short showers, but it cleared off and was perfect for the fireworks.

Excellent!! I'm headed out to lake Travis tomorrow afternoon... Putting in at either Briarcliff or the Narrows. Going to take the Whale tail off and try the new smart tabs.

The tabs work great, but I think I may have lost some off of the top end. I may see about getting a set of 20lb actuators and give them a shot.
