Does anybody have one of these inflatables or give me an idea on the good/bad of an Achilles inflatable?

I have an Achilles Air floor 9'6" for 3rd season. I had some problems with the seams on the air floor seperating which achilles warranteed 2 years later and replaced the floor. My original boat was the spd which is the wood floor. a real PITA to install. Air Floor is much easier. We have a 2 stroke 8 hp Yamaha and the boat planes with my wife, and 3 kids, about 400 lbs total for all 5 of us. Overall i am happy with the boat. THe hypalon material is very durable. I would purchase another Achilles. Local Dealer support is great.

Same Achilles as Rocket. Side lines fell apart first year - warranted. Run with 8HP 2 Stk Yamaha. Runs great. I plan to buy another Achilles, just a hard bottom.

Thanks for the reply guys. I bought the boat last night. It's a 2004 model and 2004 motor but used 5-6 times. The boat looks like new and so does the motor. Started on one very light pull. I agree, the floor is a ***** to install but I plan on keeping it on my floating jet ski lift for the most part. If I take it with us I will tie it down to the swim platform or worst case deflate it. I boguht it from an older guy that was selling his BW Mauntauk 15', his looked like brand new 5th wheel and the Achilles. I paid $900 for everything, boat motor, stoarage bags, foot pump, electric pump, pacth kit, oars, gas tank and a portable engine stand. I think I got a pretty good deal?

I found an Achilles lex88 on Craigs List that looks brand new for 500.00! I really like it because I can lift it by myself over the bow rails and strap it on the bow for long distances. I have a Merc 3.5 with integrated gas tank (2 stroke). I first bought a West Marine 9'6" and it came with this motor. It was too heavy for me to safely lift over the bow.I paid 750 for boat and motor. I sold WM boat for 500! So I got 750 in boat and motor that has very little use!

I like the integrated gas tank. My neighbor has a WM 8'-6" with a 5hp tohatsu. Since I'm going to use this for canal cruising and taking out to our local sandbar (drinking hangout) when I don't want to mess with the bigger boat for a few hours on the water I think the 10 footer wil be good. I'll deal with the size and weight if/when I take it on the 280. Donnie, I finally got my TV installed. The picture and sound are pretty good for a AC/DC Tv that was $160 shipped to my door. I don;t know if you used or found a web coupon when you ordered yours. I found one and it saved me like $20!

Nope! No cooo pun...lol I was in hurry to get r done thinking I was making the Bimini Trip :( Now I have a month to get ready!!

Great Deal - I paid close to $ 3200 new for mine.
