Sorry to hear this I just found out Modutech got hit also. Hope all works out well.

I have had this fella do quite a few collector guitars in the past one of the best Luthiers on the coast. He may be able to locate or have a piece laying around. He builds some nice guitars they use birds eye on a lot of guitars.

His shop is past South Hill off of Meridian.

Sample from Wilson art arrived yesterday and it is close but not identical. I would need to apply something on top of it to give it the gloss and clear coat the Vitricor has....

If your looking for that thick, clear shine you may want to try the two part treatment for bar tops. I've done a couple with my brother as well as a few table tops. It's non-flammable so you use a torch to get all of the fine bubbles out of it. Let me know if you're interested & I'll find out the exact product name from my brother.
