Looking for surveyor and a place to short haul in Charleston, SC.

I am looking to have a S.R. surveyed. I would also like a Cummins tech do a mechanical survey too. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I don't know the area, so if anyone has a recommendation for a yard that will be reasonably priced for the short haul, that would be a big help. Anything within 20 minutes of the Mt Pleasant Pier could work.

Neil Haynes 1 (843) 559-2857. Cummins dealer 1 (843) 851-9819 is in North Charleston. Neil will know some independents. Ross Marine1 (843) 559-0379 does a lot of short hauls. City Boatyard is another choice. Neil can help you also find vendors. Good luck.

Ross Marine did a survey-related short haul for me. I think it was about $10 / foot. Not sure it's within your time constrains though. It was 30+ minutes from the dock at Safe Harbor Bristol in Charleston. Had to run through the Wappoo Cut and up the Stono River.

There are no haul out facilities within 20 minutes of IOP. Your seller probably is aware of this.
