Looking for suggestions/tips for Lucuya trip 8/17-8/20

We are taking the big boat to Lucaya Friday and will return Monday. I will have Sat and Sunday for the Admiral and myself to "explore"! Might drag some lines and then head to town! Is there some shopping and nightlife there? Any suggestions for some "must sees"! Thank you.

Plenty to do right at marina. Lots of restaurants, bars and shopping and free nightly entertainment at the Marketplace and Count Basie Square right off the docks. Across the street on the beach there is a casino. Finally, don't miss Billy Joe's on the Beach.

Where are you departing USA from, and have you signed up with Homeland Security's "Local Boater" program to facilitate clearance upon your return?

We are keeping the boat at Marina Bay Marina up the New River in Ft Lauderdale. No, I haven't. Will check into that. Is it something that I can get done between now and by noon tomorrow? Thanks for the advice!
