Apparently the gasket sealing the upper and lower halves of my open array failed allowing rain water to enter causing massive corrosion. I've owned the boat since 09 and have never had the unit opened so assuming it was bad for a long time. As I'm not ready to upgrade looking for open array from a member who has upgraded.

You may want to jump up and take a photo of your array and share that model information. RL80C is the model of your chartplotter/display, not your array.

I have seen a couple different whole systems with newer display and array, cables, everything, on Facebook groups Sea Ray Parts. I'll see if I can find the posts. Good timing to replace inexpensively.

I know of one available, it is for a e52069 pedestal and is digital. If you can confirm this is what you need, my friend said to make him an offer.

Here is a picture of the array.

you are correct, radar is a Pathfinder 48" open array (Analog)

I Have 1 that I purchased as a spare in case mine failed. It has the upgrade to be used with the newer C and E series Radar as well as yours. Give me a call or message me and we can work it out. I can check it on my boat to make sure it works before you commit to it. When I purchased my boat it had the same problem of the seal leaking and the original owner said you just have to push the buttons on the radar screen a bunch of times and it will work. Opened the unit up and sent him the pictures of all the water damage and he just smiled.

sounds good Chuck, just sent you an email.

JUst gave one away with all the wireing last week.sorry it was in the basement for two seasons and had to go.

I have an open aray that I’m going to post up for sale as a “parts unit”. I’m selling as a parts unit b/c I haven’t turned it in in 2 seasons and don’t have a display to verify it’s current state. Although it should work fine when plugged in.
If this is the unit you need and your near Long Island, make me an offer and it’s yours.
