Mobile Marine Service, Bill Engall - he used to own the boat valet rack marina and service in Waterford. Let me know if you cant find him, I will try to find his card.

Wow, this is interesting timing...

My guy is Eric Klockers; my boat is in Groton, near UCONN Avery Point. Eric was working with me (I’m re-powering) on Wednesday June 9th when my friend Dave stopped by (2001 Sea Ray 310) and asked Eric about removing his shafts, because his seals were bad. (hmm... I'm seeing a pattern here...)

Eric got some tools out of his truck... walked over... 20-30 minutes later he was back and both shafts were out... (One guy had told Dave that both engines might have to come out.... hmmmm... ) I thought he was going over to give Dave a quote… he ended up doing it right then and there. He mentioned to me that with that model the shaft goes threw the transmission and the nut is on other side, so just take off the nut.. and pull out the shafts. (that was the gist... I'm sure there is more to it...I have I/O and wasn't really paying attention....) New seals are on order, when they come in Eric will install…

Eric has been doing this about 33 years or so... is certified in everything … he is EXCELLENT!!!! He is a technical advisor for Soundings magazine …. He is a mobile guy… He is wicked busy right now… but if you can get him…. he is more than worth it… I’ll send you his number when I can…my cell phone is dead at the moment…

GOOD LUCK!
