Hello everyone - does anyone have a good suggestion on a full cover for a 2000 Sundeck 240? Having some trouble coming up with something other than a generic semi custom cover.
Westland is the only company I have found who sells a custom cover to exactly fit my boat but apparently you have to completely remove the Bimini top (not just lay flat) or it won't fit. Huge pain in the arse. Was going to spring for the Sunbrella fabric - I think it would be worth it in the long run.
Could probably get a local shop to custom make one but wanted to see if anyone else had gone down this road and had some suggestions for me.

Great Lakes Boat Top is the OEM for Sea Ray and they also sell direct to the consumer (greatlakesboattop.com) but your best bet is to have a local canvas shop make one for you that fits your exact needs.

Thanks for lightning fast reply - tried Great Lakes and they make cockpit and tonneau cover but not one that covers entire boat.

Is the 2000 sundeck the same as the latter years? I can't remember when they changed. Anyway, I have a sunbrella "Covermate Custom Fit" from Overtons. It fits my boat with the bimini laid down. Draw string pulls it tight, just under rub rail and covers swim platform. They also sell one that fits the factory tower. I have been very pleased with mine, you might check them out, since they have a sale going on for 20% off (code AUG20 at checkout)

Had this cover custom made by a local company. It's Sunbrella charcoal tweed. I had him make it this way to keep the sun etc off as I store it outdoors in the summer.

Great - that's just the information I was hoping to get. I believe the 2000 and 2006 are about identical - they just added the swim platform into the measurement and called the later models 26 feet. I'll check out Overtons and see what I can come up with.
Thanks again.

Wow - that's the Mac Daddy of covers - I like the way it wraps all the way around.
Mind if I ask what it cost?
Thanks

$1500.00 but that included some work I had him do on the bow & cockpit covers ($100). I had a really bad experience towing with the bow & cockpit covers (ruined a bunch of snaps and almost lost the bow cover on the interstate). I now hook up and go with this cover. So far it hasn't let any rain in. I'm going to make some covers for my tower speakers with the same material when I get time.

I was was toying with the idea of bow and cockpit covers so was glad you mentioned that those didn't work so well for trailering. $1500 was a little more than I was hoping to spend but that sure is a nice cover you have - almost whole boat is protected.
I'm thinking I'll at least get a quote from a local canvas shop and decide which way to go from there.

Thanks again for the great info.
