Hi all,
Looking for engine advice here.
We are looking at a 2000 380 AC with the 350hp CAT 3116's. Boat has 500hrs. I have requested the serial numbers to check the service history and check the 250 hr service was done. I was going to get the oil analysis done also. I am wondering the general opinion on these engines. I am coming from big block Mercruisers and in a previous life small Yanmar diesels. For whats its worth the engines and the ER are spotless and the boat seems to have been maintained with an open checkbook.
