Great choice. Had one for 9 years and loved it.
Make sure you check the fore deck around the windlass for soft spots. The windlasses in my years were mounted so poorly they the bolt hole silicone would fail and allow water to wick into the coring material. The years you're looking at had cabin portholes and not the sliding windows so you'll be less likely to experience leaking there. You'll want to check around the cabin hatches for leaks as the seals fail after a while. Not sure about the main companionway door on the years you're looking at. Earlier years the doors where very cool because they were tinted acrylic 'glass' and let in a lot of light but their tracks were WAY under-engineered. I think all else was very well thought out and the boat handles beautifully.
