Sorry I should have been more specific, I'm LOOKING now for a 40 Dancer with Diesels 2006 or newer, but I'm looking, then once I find one I'll have to convince the Wife We Need this boat, like I did the 320...All she'll have to do is Ride in it and it will sell her immediately.
2006 or Newer though, I don't want to drop back in years for our New Boat.

You're going to need to be patient as diesels are pretty rare in the 40. Maybe they just aren't being flipped as often as the 40 with gassers.

During our search, we daily scoured the boat listings on multiple web sites. There were 3 out of around 80 40DA's in the 2005-2008 range that had diesel. One in California, one on the ICW in (N?)Carolina and one on Lk Cumberland KY. I recall the KY boat because we could drive it home. It was Pewter, under $300k, had less than 200 hours, but had the smaller engines.

I've only had a few hours with mine so far, but absolutely love it!

You might consider expanding your search to include 2005 390's. Same boat...

A friend has one and it is a very nice vessel...

Robert- 2 cents from a 05 390 gasser. Thruster- thruster- thruster! It sure has helped out to keep this 390 a single hand boat on windy days. Twin screens sure come in handy for radar, depth/ fish finder, GPS, & Weather. A camper top to extend season into those cool fall days. Enjoyb the search!

That will be a rare bird on Lake Michigan. You might need to look at salt water boats.

They're rare throughout the Great Lakes. However, diesel 420/44DA's are easy to find. I'd consider going a step up before bringing in a Salty.

Take a step back a year or two and look at a 04 420 DA with the Cummins. I know of one thats loaded with everything but a bow thruster (which I think with the Diesels isn't needed after running quite a few of them). Hardtop, Cherry Interior, Slept on only a handful of times, Navigator, Freedom Lift tender lift (which has removable arms) and a white hull / black canvas combo.

The boat has been 100% freshwater and can be had for very cheap. Shoot me a PM if you would like further information. The boat belongs to a close friend of mine.

I have a 2008 40 Sundancer with the 380hp diesels. What price range are you looking at? The boats on Lake Champlain always fresh water. Bow Thruster, 4 Tvs, cockpit air, White Hull Black Canvas.

PM me if you are interested
