We are actively searching for a 2006 or newer 44 Sedan Bridge. We live in the NE and would prefer something near, although if shipping was required for the right vessel, Then maybe??
If you know of or have one to offer I’d love to hear about it. Also if you can offer advice on what options you have that you’d definitely recommend I’d love to hear about that as well. Swim platforms, stern thrusters, plotters, etc. Are oil change systems standard factory installed or an option?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately they are already very few on the market you will have an even tougher time finding one fully outfitted with all the bells and whistles listed. I don't know anyone who would turn down a hydraulic platform but its not a must have unless you don't mind dropping 35k. We were fortunate to find one fully loaded with platform and stern thrusters 4 years ago however electronics were outdated and enclosure was shot. My advice would be to find one in the best mechanical and hull condition and work backwards from there. Don't think anyone is selling these once they have them setup to their liking. Note the stern thruster is a nice to have but don't think I would miss it if it wasn't there. The only other thing I'm back and forth on is bridge air. Not so much for cooling but rather for the heating in the cooler months. Good luck with your search.

We had an '07 44DB for 4 years. Oil change system is pretty standard. Bow thruster is also I would say. Stern thruster is not and never had a need. Hyd platforms are nice, but do require maintenance and are not considered standard. Here in the South, the bridge air is worthless as the sun and heat are just too much for it to overcome. For bridge heat, we used to just plug in a small ceramic heater and it was fine. As for shipping, we moved ours from Pensacola Beach, FL to Lake Lanier, GA. Arch, dash, upper rail around the seats, etc were removed. All wiring was plug and play except for the auto fire extinguisher wire. It had to be cut and butt spliced. The total bill was about $10k or so to move it. Not a big deal. Most '06-'08s were pretty standard with twin E120 Raymarine units. Be prepared to deal with FW pumps, ACs, refrigerators and vacuflushes if they have not been replaced recently. Good luck with your search.
