was a great day on the water!

Nice pics Happy Daze. What the heck kinda boat is that red one. You don't realize how big it is until you start comparing it to the people on board.

I watched her get repainted at Yacht Solutions in Cortez in 2017 while I was being re-powered. We both survived Irma. Pretty sure the painter never wants to see Red again.

Great pics! We'll be back there in a little over a month. Brings back memories of my daughter's wedding a Longboat Key Resort, and my wife and I paddling our kayaks from the Mote boat ramp out to the beach on Lido.

Happy Daze, what I can't get over is the clarity of the water since the great Red Tide. I'm in the NE corner of Sarasota Bay, and it's nothing these days to see detail on the bottom in 10 ft of water. Like being in the keys. I'm sure it won't last, but its gorgeous now.

Boy did i speak too soon!
in 1 week we've gone from the keys to brackish green, slimed with bay snot and leftover red tide algae pads floating to the surface and completely clogging up our canals. The bay snot happens every year, but this time it's putrid and airborne.
