I might as well be the first smart ass comment, we still use them here in NC. Sorry.

 It's dropping to 60 Friday night, might have to wear long pants while cruising. Oh the horror...

We spend the holidays in Little River, SC on Mrs. Strypes' aunt & uncle's boat!

Went for a cruise on the ICW and the Atlantic Ocean yesterday!

Other than that we go to a few boat shows and get together with our friends from our marina and boating area.

We get together with our boating friends... also taking our annual trip with them to STT/STJ where we will be doing 2 chartered boat trips.

We don't boat as much, so any weekend we don't have something else planned, we gather at the marina restaurant on Friday nights to socialize. It runs a winter menu with lower drink and food prices so it's a win-win. Oftentimes we'll meander to someone's boat for an after party; if it's ours, we crank up the cabin heat, turn on a space heater in the cockpit, and spin the disco ball!

No hanging out at EYC this winter as the entire club looks like this......

Should be nice when it's done.
Heading out on a cruise with another boating couple in March.

Once New Years is over, start working on the boat to do list and the boat show is just a couple weeks out........

(And then there is the little matter of the alias CSR account expressing my undying love for Honda generators on the swim platform)

Try to stay warm and avoid snow as much as possible.

I'm up in Western NY, boat stored inside, heated. With that, I'll start doing my upgrades over the next few months (electronics, cleaning, glass replacement).

My marina owner and I started having a conversation about doing an inside dock party in February. Power up attendees boats, and have ourselves a sleepover. Should be fun.

We went out on 12/2 and 12/3 for the lighted boat parade with a combined 23 guests on the two nights. We're going out again on 1/1 and will about a dozen guests with us.

After that the boat gets secured for the winter as we head to AZ on 1/5.

We'll be using the Whaler down there.

Ice fishing, beer.....and a complete rebuild of the kitchen somewhere in between.

That could be expensive Steve ;)

The air fare was cheap and I've checked with both my doctor and financial planner and both have confirmed that I'm still in the very early stages of two-footitis and the chances of me having a attack that demands an immediate cure is low. :)

Remember if you get it long enough it also gets wider so be careful if you have low blood pressure you might faint plus it's recommended to not use alcohol when being around anything this size.
