Location on exhaust flap/cover on 78 sea ray 240

I am wondering where the exhaust flap is on my 78 sea ray. it is overheating and having trouble getting t plane like lack of power thinking flap is clogged or semi stuck where is it located. i have a manual on my omc 800 outdrive doesnt show but says theres a exhaust port cover on top of my outdrive somewhere.... here is a photo of risers going into inside unit... Thanks for all the help guys! feels like exhaust is clogged inspected manafolds and risers basically clean

the exhaust flaps are in the exhaust pipe. if you take the rubber couplings off they should be there. There are holes across the pipe that a rod goes through, the flap hangs off of that.
