So a silly question for all you seasoned boat owners...but I gotta ask, how do I find stringers in the boat without tearing it apart?

Usually, they are right under the engine motor mounts and easy to find as they move forward on top of the fiberglass bottom.

Unfortunately, my guess is it will be tough without opening the floor up. What section are you interested in?
The manual that came with ours had simple drawings (without measurements) of the 270SDB platform it was built from. It was not very accurate in comparison to ours in the engine compartment. The main stringers on it staggered wide at the rear bulkhead.
Are you able to lift a floor panel to expose the fuel tank? It should expose the forward main stringers.
Here's a couple pics of what we ran into when we replaced them. We changed the engine mounts so they could be thru bolted.
Possibly, support at Sea Ray could help.

You can see them while looking in your engine bilge. Depending on what type of floor hatch access you have in other areas, you may also see them.
