I have a "boat load" of pictures to up load (pun intended):smt038 but no matter how if I try to load one or a bunch I get a message that it exceeds the amount allocated. Is there a way to up load some with out paying?

If you upgrade to a sponsor you have more storage. If you don't want to help support the site you can always post your picture on one of the free photo sites and post the link here.
Hope it helps.

it dont hurt to pay,or use photobucket, either way i would like to sea a boat load.

I don't mean to seem cheap. But any extra cash is going into this project. I'm loading on to photo bucket now. Lets see how it goes.

It works, i didnt have much time to look at all of them , you do have your work cut out for you , ill have to check it out later , Good luck.

I gotta leave for a week , but when i get back i want to check out what your doing , 268's are great boats , worth fixing up , and twin power is awesome , she will get up and GO.

WOW! that looks like a great project! The Admiral wants to tear out our headliner (it is drooping is some places). What are you going to put over the mat you attached? And how are you going to attach it?

I feel your pain. The wife and I ripped out our headliner and it was quite a job. She was also 8 months pregnant, shes a trooper. Once we did that everything else looked dated, so a complete redo was in store for the cabin. Its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it does feel good to sit back and relax on the water and have everything look new. Check your Sunday paper for JoAnn Fabrics 50% off and Buy-one-get-one coupons, they are like gold for projects like this. Best of luck. Let me know if I can shed any insight for anything.

It was tedious but not hard. We just yanked as you can see in the pics. I was advised to take everything out. The "cushion" is what holds odor. My advise is to just get a corner started and tare it out in as big of pisces as possible. Remove cabinets as needed. You can tuck the edges under very easily. Any cushion pieces left are the tough part. I used a metal mudding knife and a wire wheel to get off as much as possible. Once that's off I used an orbital palm sander. WARNING!!! You are sanding fiber glass. Cover any exposed skin or you will itch for days. Also wear eye and respiratory protection.
To adhere the hull liner we used 3M brand spray adhesive 77 (3 cans on our 268). From there we measured using the ISH scale :smt043 and trimmed as needed.

Good luck and send pics

I have been around boating all my life. This is my fourth boat. Its the biggest and the first with twin screws. We took her out for the first time on Sunday. I have never seen a boat NOT plow to get up to plane. It just goes to plane. You hit the throttles.... and its on top of the water. What I did find exciting (its a guy thing.....) was the zero turning of two engines) had my girlfriend/ co-owner laughing her tail off at how cool I thought that was. Also.... two V6s buzz.... not growl.. all and all we love this thing.

WOW!! Yes she certainly gets a dedication badge for that one. Does that baby seem to enjoy the boat too :)
