listing to starboard

My 2001 240 sundancer is listing to starboard at the dock. Never did before. Just put it back in the water last week. The only thing different is two new batteries but they're located in the same spot as before. Got all the water out of the bilge and she still lists a couple of inches at the transome waterline. Any thoughts?

Possible Solution

You might want to check how full your water tank is. On my '87 230 it sits directly opposite my batteries in the bilge. When the tank is empty or low, it can't counterbalance the batteries and I list starboard quite a bit. Pretty easy fix if that's your problem!

I know on my 260, the waste is on the starboard side, check the level of that as well.

My 87 270 dancer also lists starboard and to the best of my knowledge the boat is well balanced. Water tank is on port, dual batteries and holding tank is starboard.

how many is a couple of inches???????? sea ray says 1-2 inches is normal
