Liquid Lites - Anybody else have experience with these?

Wow... I love this option.:smt038 I can't wait to hear if anyone has experience with it....

I like it a lot as well.

I bought 4 blue 48LED lights which are nice, but now I'm thinking a white Liquid Lite in the middle of the transom in the garboard drain on a seperate switch would be a nice touch.

There's gotta be someone who has heard of this? Tried it? Knows someone who's heard of this or tried it?

Wow, that's a "Why didn't I think of that?" product!

Price point is a bit high for me. I might have took a bite at $100.

Do search on 48LED Lights in these forums. They are nice, affordable lights in that price range. I have 4 of them.

Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller?

Any Liquid Lite users/purchasers out there?

$269 each? That's a pricey little LED but seeing that you don't need to drill your hull it may be worth it. I am wondering if one of these is adequate to get what most people are looking for (not for fish)?

I was interested until I saw the price.:wow:

Considering the intent of use and the ease of installation, I think it may be a little high in price, but not too far off base. I see LED's MUCH higher in price and you have to make large holes in your boat for them.

My $.02.

From the linked website, I figured I better re-iterate this important Safety Precaution:

2) Never remove the light assembly while the boat is in the water.

Yikes! I like the idea of not drilling holes, but I think it is priced a bit high. I also was thinking in the $100 range......

I think our garboard drains are brass - will you have any problems screwing a stainless steel plug/light into the opening?

All good points. Maybe I will redirect these questions to the makers of the product.

FOLLOW UP: I sent the people at Tojo Sea Below an email asking for answers to some of the questions posted since it looks like we have no users or experts on this product. Although it looks like a great idea, lots of valid points that have been brought about and I hope they will answer them.
