Liquid Light

I’d be curious how they do, either one of them. I’d like to add a light when I pull the boat for a bottom job, but won’t have the loot for high dollar lights.....

Thanks for the link. I have been wanting to get some under water lights, but the price tag is too steep for me. This looks like a nice alternative. Definitely going to try! To cheap not too!

I'm not putting anything that cost $30 in the drain hole of my boat :wow:

How much did the one you have currently cost you?
Exactly! That's funny right there!

I received the $30 one yesterday... It looks like a well made product. Machined out of brass. I'll have no problem using for a drain plug. The LED's are very bright... it's got to do something for the effect. I will report back in the spring!

Personally I'm a little leery of the difference in price. Granted liquid lite markets their product as being high quality that is a huge difference. My worry is some type of failure in the glass resulting in a leak. can't wait hear how the cheaper option works out

So, I installed the $30 drain plug LED light as I launched in the spring but just got around to hooking it up this past weekend... it looks great! I simply tied it into the cockpit light circuit where I already had blue LED's.

Easy to install and it creates the effect I was looking for.

Take some pics or a video... would love to see what this looks like....
