Lightstream loan question

I stumbled upon this thread and thought I'd share my experience with Lightstream. I had a similar situation with my boat loan, and my bank wanted to refinance at a crazy 11% rate due to the boat's age. That's when I turned to Lightstream.

Man my credit until gave me 1.75% on a 15 yr note when I bought my 500 a few years back. It’s like free money. Throw 35% on top of monthly payment just to keep it whittling down more quickly.

My credit union will only loan for brand new boats and 5 years ago (2018) it was at 12%. Probably closer to 15-20% now. I called 3 or 4 credit unions and all said the same. My regular bank will not loan for boats at all
