This past weekend, I was able to take my son out fishing in the Wassaw sound. We caught a few fish, but generally had a great time. Later that afternoon as we were talking about how much fun we had, I remembered doing the same thing with my father on his SeaRay. Gentlemen, life is good! Our economy may need vast improvement, the job market sucks, but when we get out on the water with our families, all of our problems seem to go away.

Lets try a reply inline with your post:

You are correct sir. Everytime I go boating I remember the days with my father and brothers scouring the PNW waters. Nothing like boating to spawn a family vibe.

Not sure what Balony has to do with it.

In the short time I have been on this site, I have come to realize that Gary has a very unique view on just about everything. He is wise beyond his years!

It was just your typical ham sandwich and a coke. But as many of you can relate, I don't care what it is, it always tastes better on the boat.

Georga SD,

Same experience here last Sunday. My family, my brother and I fished all day with only 1 keeper. However the time watching my son try to catch the big one and my daughter "the minnow lady" playing with the bucket of minnows for what seemed like hours just melts the stresses of the non boating time away.

Oh and by the way, lunch (made by the wifey) was turkey with provalone on italian. Priceless.
