Hi Everyone,
I am in search of the coffee crafe from an LG microwave/coffee maker combo. used in Searay Cruisers. Thought maybe if someone has replaced their LG already and has the glass pot I would be interested in purchasing it. Let me know if you have one or where I can buy one.

Nope sorry... its an odd size and they got us by the nads! :smt009

Has anyone had experience with fixing your built-in coffee maker. Ours (2005, 340 Sea Ray) does not work. Any tips or trouble shooting advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks Mike but something like that would cost only an amount the government could afford. I appreciate the thought though.

I thought it a long shot.

Is there something that would be close that might fit? Also someone bought the remains of the inventory and they have to be somwhere, probably at some Big Lots as far from boats as they can be. :smt043

I think contacting LG would be the way to go. They may know their supply chains or distributors to source if the one in question is discontinued.

Another item that has gone EOL from LG. Great! I recently had to replace the magnetron in the micro/coffee-maker on my '05 340 SDA because the installers at the OEM didn't remove the scratch resistant protective covering from the microwave vents and I essentially cooked the microwave (tube/magnetron) itself because it wasn't ventilating. No issue with short term heating other than I though the surfaces was hot. The failure occurred with some Stouffer's frozen dishes that took in excess of 18 minutes to cook over time (great entrees by the way, kids love them). Luckily the warranty was still in effect but the the OEM (LG) was back logged on the magnetron. There are third party vendors that have the tubes for replacement. I would recommend that if you are using your microwave for extended time periods to heat meals that you check that the vents are not covered with the fine clear covering like mine. Removal of the micro/coffee combo is simple. Just remove the two screws that are visible from behind the stowage area and the unit and mount will come out.

I contacted LG last year and the pot is not available. However, I have seen the oven (also discontinued) with pot online.

That's a great find, but worthless if you want to replace the carafe. It's not available. The glass tray, however, is available it appears, so that might be a worthwhile purchase as it too tends to have self destructive tendencies.

Thanks for the link though, it certainly is helpful to know that some parts are available.

Nothing special about the glass tray. Can get from most online appliance stores (I did after mine came flying out of the oven). I have since installed a velcro strap to help secure the door.

Some time ago Tiara stopped using built in coffee pots because their vendors kept changing the dimensions of the products which then required expensive changes to the galley casework. Typically that space is now used for storage and a nice french press coffee maker fits into the space formally used for a Mr. Coffee.
