QSM-11's
While sourcing Oil filters for my QSM-11's I found out that there will no longer be LF9001 filters.

The new filters have been designed to be compatible with pre-2010 Cummins engines, including the Cummins ISX, QSX, ISM, QSM, QSK19, K19 and QST30 engine families. To avoid the need for multiple part number inventory, LF9000 and LF9001 will be phased out with the introduction of the LF9070 and LF9080.

I'm thinking you'll need to grind down a flat spot on the keel (like a bass boat) so you can cook along at 60 knots.

Purchased LF 9080 filters for $37.21 at Harper Freightliner / Woodbridge, Ontario

Is the QSM-11 going away?
I see the 2010 Meridian 541 Sedan Bridge is available with 715HP QSM-11's w/Zeus.

Who knows. I was told by the local Cummis shop that they were going away two years ago. I asked about it the last time I was down there (about 2 months ago) and they said as long as it passes the emission requirements, they'll keep making it... but it is going away...
