My son and I did this today….. just an incredible experience. It was at the Indianapolis motor speedway….. just a perfect weather day. We drove the LC500 on the Indy road course….. highest speed For me was 140mph. The other course was Autocross…..we drove the IC500… that was a lot of fun. I did the course in 31 seconds…. Scott Pruitt a professional did the course in 28 seconds. Scott took my son and I with him….. you couldn’t believe the difference 3 seconds makes … it was wild.
If you ever get a chance to try it do it…. Just a fun day.

I did one of these at the BMW factory in Greenville, SC. A lot of fun -- that's where I learned that you can't really drive without two hands on the wheel, and most people, including myself are not anywhere near as good of a driver as they think they are. The drive back home that day in my Lexus ES was pretty boring!

Looks very cool. When I did the Richard Petty experience I asked one of the driver's what was the best track to do that on. He said Indy hands down...

BUT, did they teach you how to park your car so you don't hit it with your boat? That would really make it school.

No ….they never taught us how to park the cars…… it was all about going forward…..and with my forward boat skills I excelled with the cars :)

I did a Lexus event when the IS300 first came out. Was a good time.

My wife got me a class a Skip Barber racing school at Lime Rock in CT a bunch of years ago. Leaned so much and it was fantastic.

I did the Mario Andretti performance driving school at Phoenix Motor Speedway. We drove open wheel cars that had a governor set at 128. After completing that first course (and for another $700) they would set the governor at 154. Hell, I did that in cop cars and in my 280Z.
