Lets talk drones ....

I used RealFlight. Great sim. You can hook you own radio up so you build muscle memory tailored to your setup.

The thing about Drones is they pretty much fly themselves. I don't think a "sim" brings much to the table for most that want one. Read the manual and know the limitations.

Agreed but if you are going to fly a drone, learning your orientations is important (fun and challenging as well) Not being proficient can be costly if you have dumb thumbs. A save switch or return home switch is handy if it has time to recover, and your smart/quick enough to activate it!

Assuming we aren't watching the battery level and time to fly, the drone (at least the DJI ones) will assess the situation and fly themselves home based upon battery level and distance to fly. But, you need to know enough to turn on that feature. That is, provided home is still in the same location. I believe there is also a feature to home on the transmitter. Trees are my worst enemy....
