NORDHAVN 47.......... Mostly because it's like my old dog (a boxer) one of those faces so ugly only a monther could love. I love the Nordhavns 2800 NM on one tank of fuel sure helps for the long hauls. I'll pump, you pay!!!
 
hmmm $10k for a satellite link that's slower than broadband.... not sure that works for me. I'm talkin' large file transfers. I'll keep an eye on that though. Thanks for the link, it was informative.

Uh, yeah... I didn't even look at the pricing. As I'm sure you've already considered, a combination of a broadband card, wifi at marinas and a laptop with your external hard drive dragged to the local coffee shop or library should cover a lot of the different locales you'll (hopefully) encounter.
