Hello everyone- I have really enjoyed Clubsearay and I just want to let everyone know that I go to my 320 da every weekend on the Columbia river in Portland, Oregon(I live 100 miles from Portland so it is a long drive) to get away from it all and be with fellow boaters ; To have fun and let it all hang out... Please keep this forum free of the politics and garbage of everyday life .. let's support everyone in our crazy little world of boating.. Outside of boating everyone is different, but as boaters ,we are all the same-Whether you own a 60 searay sundancer or an 18' bowrider. we all share the same passion!

royal flush,

are you one of those *deleted* that doesn't want to put your boat information in your signature line?

Skal! I'm seriously tired of the political banter myself. I've refrained from 90% of it, but I really think we all share something in common and the politics, banter, bashing and other useless crap is getting old.....on CSR and TV

I 100% agree!!!

Let's all go drink some beer and hit some strip clubs. It's the only way I'll get to see anything that resembles a bikinni for the next 8 months.

I'm all for the beer and rippers, but umm...can we go to the rippers up here? Any of the ballet clubs I have been to in the US have been topless only....maybe I'm in the wrong states? Although the one in Key West was sorta "anything goes", as long as you brought the dinero.:wow:

I love Key West....it's like Montreal, but WAY warmer and with WAY less clothing.

/hijack

if by definition I meant:

open-minded or tolerant, esp. free of or not bound by traditional or conventional ideas, values, etc.

the *deleted* word would not be political and would apply to the fact the royal flush doesn't follow the standards we come to accept on this board of putting your boating info in your sig!

In that case *** would be more offensive than the *deleted* word!

Back on track (actually I love Hijacking in threads)

But 100 miles to travel to do what you love is not all that far - I do that every weekend (but it is not threw traffic) I get to see Farms & Crops & Ducks / Geese & small towns along the way - I actually like the drive

/re-hijack

I also drive an hour and a half to get to the boat, again, through the country for the most part and never any real traffic to speak of.

If I bought a cottage in the Muskokas like everyone else, it'd be 6+ hours to there on the weekends.

/end hijack....again.

I bet the Columbia River is a nice place to boat - ever catch any fish ??? They have some Big Walleyes out there

What towns are best for boating on the Columbia River / Marina's / Hunting / Fishing retirement etc. (I hate Big Cities)

Do you boat yr round ?

I'm not a huge fan of political rants either (though I have been known to get involved in one or two in my day). BUT, when I'm not in the mood, I have this novel idea that says "DONT READ IT."

Here's one example. I saw a thread entitled "Obama Infomercial." The thought sickens me so I didn't even go in and read it. It was that simple.

So, rather than this...:smt021

I continue to do this...

Everybody Wang Chung tonight!
