Had the MarineMax shop remove the grey stripe from the side of my new 270 SLX. Now if this boat was white, I like the black accent stripe, but my hull being black, I think it looks cleaner without the stripe. What do you think??? We kept the SLX Logo on the rear.

I believe that most people with show cars will "debadge" everything on the car. I suppose it works for boats also. I like it.

Just keep that dark hull out of the sun as much as possible or else the oxidation will be killer in a few years.

I removed the bootstripe this spring and was planning on redoing it this off season, but now the 'nekkid" look has grown on me and I think I will be leaving it that way. Cheaper, cleaner, nothing to screw up...winner!

I think just the same when you say less is better less then two hours after i got my boat home remove all stickers. LOOKS GOOD

I removed the stickers on my 240 SD...I like it alot better. I think I saw you at the gas dock the other afternoon. and if my eyes are good....that picture is taken over in flamingo cove...

We were at the fuel dock and have been in flamingo with that boat, but that cove was actually a small cove on the right before you get to Illinois Creek around the corner. We stopped for a dip before we headed to "props 'n hops".

had a 280 sundancer and never really intended to pull it, but now that I'm in a bowrider I kinda want to be able to pull it. See you can pull yours. My 06 tundra only has a 6500 lb towing capacity :smt021 Just have to convince my wife I need a new truck :smt089

Is props and hops anywhere close to Park Marina? Do they have a dock to tie up to?

Not sure right off hand, but it is at Victoria Harbor marina. They built a really long new dock for boating customers. It's a nice dock that has a protective rubber strips as well as courtesy docking lines everywhere so you don't have to use yours.

Didn't MM have a raft up/party at Props & Hops back in the spring? I was going to try and make it down.
