Leland Boat Launch

Does anyone know if they have completed the construction in the Leland harbor near the boat launch? We are heading up that way next week and would like to put in at Leland and head over to the sleeping bear dunes. Last year it was recommended that we call ahead as they did not know if the launch would be open everyday due to construction.

From what I hear from the Manitou Island Transit people, the construction is all done.

The last time I was there with my 230, during construction, the launch was pretty shallow. To launch we had to push boat out beyond the dock and pull back with a bow line after trailer was out. I'm hoping it's way better now and will take a bigger boat.

The Harbor Masters # is 231 256 9132. If you can find out how much boat can launch and overnight trl parking, give us an update.
