Quick question while I'm stuck at work on this beautiful day for 24hrs.

I am planning on replacing my bulbs with led in the cabin and on the deck on the 12volt DC system.

My 120v bulbs in the cabin are super hot when they run, are there available replacement bulbs for these as well?
I'm not near my boat so I can't get the bulb style. I know they are narrow with a smaller than normal thread type.

Good idea. The only reason I was usi.g them last season was because they was brighter than the DC bulbs.

That's a good idea to just remove them. The switch for them is actually in an inconvenient area anyway.

Does anyone know what type bulb goes into the reading lamps that sea Ray used? In the mid cabin , there are no other lights besides these.

Sweet thanks. That is probably what they are. I had to take one into the house and resolder the switch and I just couldn't remember.

What did it cost you to 're-bulb your boat? $200 range? I can't believe how hot the little incandescent bulbs get. I might redo all my navigation lights this year too just to kill battery usage. No genny on Mine either

Worried about not being compliant as others have stated when changing to LED lights on the nav lights? My masthead gets super hot. I can't believe it hasn't melted the plastic. I touched it the other day while I was fiddling with things and I still have the burn on the back of my hand.

Under power it is supposed to be just stern lit but at anchor it is an all around...is that right? If so mine was also installed backwards, it can just be flipped around.d on the mount but these are the things I find on this boat. Everything backwards

I just bought $200 worth of LEDs from marine beam. Jeff is great and told me to tell everyone the 10% discount code is searay.

Thanks Scott, I always mixed up the all around and masthead. I figured if the stern light is on, the rear facing portion of the upper light should match and at anchor it should be all around and no stern light.

I wonder how long the sale is going to last, I have so much still to do this is pretty low on my list right now but in this season's list.

If you order through Marinebeam, make sure you tell them you are a Club Sea Ray member, as I believe he is giving a 10% discount to us due to my previous thread.

Crap I just placed an order today and didn't know that.

Call Jeff first thing in the morning, I'll bet he'll fix it.

I sent him an email already after reading about the discount.

Edit to add the following.

And within half an hour he sent back an email saying he applied the discount
