I have a 2006 320. There are 4 little LED lights on the inside top of my electrical closet down in the cabin. I have neve seen these lights on and only discovered them when I was screwing around trying to get the AUX function to work on my radio.

Anyway, I have a neighbor with a 340 and the lights on his boat come on when he turns on the little courtesy lights the light up the floor.

I have a hard time believing that all 4 LED lights are burned out. Any suggestions on getting these to work? I turned on every light I could find and they don't turn on.

I tried to remove them to see if a wire came off and there was NO slack in the wires. Someone from Sea Ray installed these lights and then pulled the wires tight. I have no idea where the wires go.

Given that they're led's there's no way they're "burned-out", but since you're right there at the panel it would be easy enough to run a 12v power/ground jumper over to the lights to be sure they're operational, or just check for voltage with a multimeter (with the courtesy light switch "on").
If the lights work, it's likely a failed connection somewhere; you've got a fairly new boat, SR should have a wiring schematic that would help troubleshooting.

why not? there is one circuit board inside that light which controls all 4 leds

on many models this light is connected to battery switch and is on when battery switch is turned on

Vince,
When my panel light went out one led took out the entire cluster. One LED flickered then the entire thing went dark. See if u got 12v to the light first.

Damn Vince, I didn’t even know about this light. Checked this morning, mine is not working either. Well now I have something else to do. Thanks a lot:grin:

I never fixed it. I got distracted with other things. It wouldn't surprize me to find out that they weren't hooked up. (just like the IPOD jack). Let us know how you make out.

Vince,

I just got a chance to check mine today. You can get to the wiring real easy by removing the plate for the water level display. When I checked it there was 12 volts present to the LED when the cabin courtesy lights switch is on. I ordered a replacement LED from the dealer, it was $18.

As a follow up, the LED replacement I ordered came in and I wired it up. Works great now when you turn on the floor courtesy lights. As I said in the earlier post you can get to the wiring real easy by removing the four screws on the fresh water level indicator plate.

BTW Vince, I tried to PM you but it would not go through. It said you mail box was full. Bill
