I saw some boats with LED strip lights in the bilge air intake cutouts on the side of the hull. It looked really good. I am wondering if these would do the job?

Does anyone have experience with these or similar. I am wondering if these could be cut in 1/2 and the last 1/2 of the strip be wired to make them functional. Any help would be appreciated.

They can be cut every 3 LEDs but leads need to be attached once cut.

Yes those should work. I have had a set since last year, but other upgrades keep getting in the way. I want to do my air intakes also.

Also check eBay for pricing, the manufactures are all the same but you can save a bunch of cash there.
