I want to upgrade my cabin lighting on my '99 310 to LED. I am looking for the 12v wedge, 12v bi-pin and the 130v screw base overhead light bulbs in LED. Has anyone upgraded and does anyone have the BEST source for affordable LED bulbs? I have looked at a bunch but want to check before I order.
Thank you

Thank you for the sites. I have been on both of these and many more. I found the wedge and bipin style, however, the screw base 110v overhead in the cabin (see pic) are not easily found and I still have not located them in an LED option.

Yep, that's going to be a tough one... might have to change the fixture.

You might be right! Thanks for the other info; I plugged in the numbers and voila! It worked so its order time!
Thanks for the help.

Regarding the threaded bulb... someone figured out that its a threaded candelabra base but on the european thread standard. You can get the converter to US standard from your local lighting store... I would tell you annapolis lighting, but thats just the one thats nearby and popular here. Just go to a "REAL" lighting store not HD/Lowes.

I believe it was in the 300 Sundancer Questions thread on here... or maybe even a separate one.

Thanks much. I will see if I can find an LED replacement that fits the adapter and post my findings soon.

Thanks-found one on amazon. I am going to try to find an LED replacement. I'm assuming the adapter will simply allow me to put a normal bulb in there available in any hardware store...

Did you find the cabin bulbs to be bright enough?

Thanks for the info. The cabin fixture light bulbs (twin wire) that I got before and that you show are nowhere near bright enough. One led is just not enough down there unfortunately. Also, the wedge bulbs I found and that again you show I did purchase a while ago and they seem to be too thick to slide into the receptacle. I may botch the whole led idea in the cabin.

Did anyone find a replacement that not too long and bright enough for the screw in overhead light e14. 25watt 110v ? The adapter to e12 base looks good but what led bulb to use that is bright enough and fits ?

I certainly have not but I am looking for them. I do know that you need to convert the E style euro style base to the domestic which you can get the insert on ebay or amazon or your local store. But if anyone knows where we can find the LED screw in bulbs for these overhead lights please share.

That E14 25 watt bulb is a 110v. I couldn't find a 110v LED that would fit. I just left it as an Edison filament bulb. I figured gives decent light and not worried about power consumption when plugged in or on genny.

I'm not worried about power consumption , it's the heat that they give off. It's a double bulb fixture. I would like to at least replace the 12v bulb the an led that's bright enough and just take out the e14 bulb. Unless there is a nice looking led replacement fixture?

Try marinebeam.com. They have quality products and great customer service. I replaced all my incandecents with their products and I am very happy with the results.
