So I had a leak in the raw water pump which sprayed salt water on front part of engine. It mainly got on the other pulleys. Any pointers on how to remove the rust that it created.
remove belt, spray with what, clean up after with? don’t want to spend too much time on this.
Yes I already fixed the pump.
Thanks in advance.

I would think you're in for a lot of labor. Probably need to remove the rust with wire brush, sandpaper and the like. Then re-paint. I suppose a short cut would be to hit it hard with WD-40 and the like.

May not be the "approved solution" but I had some rusty pulleys.

Wired brushed them in place, just the loose rust not down to bare metal. Wiped with acetone rag, one coat of Rustoleum primer, two coats of black Rustoleum. One year later they still look good.

Make sure you get all the scaling off, as it will shorten the serpentine belt life. Lived it multiple times over 20 years. I call it getting .50 to death. Hose clamps, seals, clips, connectors. Each one costs .50 cents, but can bring your day to its knees.
Now it's a regular inspection of the engine room before and after a weekend of running.
